We aim for our workplace culture to be systemic, safe, and smart.

We aim to be of service: to speak up, stand together & share what works.

What is the problem we exist to solve?

There is a crisis. The systems designed to support the most vulnerable members of our communities are failing, and the sectors at the frontline of it, are at breaking point. It is not sustainable. There are risks for organisations, and staff, and therefore for clients, and ultimately the wider community.

A transformation is required. The critical work today, is to ensure: we are genuinely future proofing the sectors, that organisations are fit for purpose, and fit for their People, so they in-turn can continue to serve the people they exist to serve, to do the vital work at the frontline, for as long as they are needed.

This shapes and is shaped by our Values. We apply our values in all we do, including within our workplace.

P: powerful. We influence. We contribute to social change, moment by moment. We leverage our credentials & networks, for good. We recognise words and actions are powerful, so we are passionate and compassionate. We encourage each other to find and celebrate our respective “superpowers”. We speak truth to power in confidence, and present a united front for the common good. We “check” our individual privilege, and the responsibility that comes with it.

A: action. We take action, with the courage of our convictions. We show appreciation, add value, adapt, & are agile. We advocate. We’re activists. We act with integrity.

U: unflinching. We are unleashing action for social change, so we are brave- we unapologetically name the problems, & suggest solutions. We show unconditional positive regard. We also accept it will be uncomfortable sometimes. We are also undeterred, understanding, and unwaveringly kind.

S: systemic. We ask new questions; redress the drivers; consider the whole, and the parts, seek the interconnections, consider the unexpected. We are for Sustainability. We are of service. Our workplace culture is safe & supportive, smart.

E: effective. We listen, we believe, we elevate. What we do matters, it makes a difference. We focus on the outcomes. We make every opportunity to be productive not busy. Enthusiastic! We know to be effective means we must also be encouraging, empathetic, ethical, efficient, economic, energised, environmental; with eagle eyes for what works, what doesn’t, and how best to apply and share it. Trust and integrity are essential.
