At PAUSE we believe the health and wellbeing of not for profit and government institutions are imperative. We believe the right levels of evidence and knowledge, capacity and support are necessary, so in-turn social services can continue to do what they do best- support our communities, including our most vulnerable and marginalised members.

Who we work with funders, leaders, boards, service providers, and institutions at ‘the frontline’, and others seeking to transform their workplace cultures, towards equity, and sustainability goals.

We therefore support, strengthen, & build capacity in authority, leadership, & organisational levels, so that the social service sectors are fit for purpose, and fit for their people, now and for as long as they are needed.

Governance and establishment

PAUSE is an independent organisation established in 2022 by CEO & Founder Kiera McDonald, with the amazing guidance, input and collaboration of an ongoing Advisory Board.

Collectively we have 100yrs (eek!) experience across Government, Family Violence, Justice, Education, Mental Health, AOD, Aged Care, Disability, Environmental, and corporate sectors.

We align our practices to evidence based approaches, including global, national, state, and specialist Plans across environment, social, and governance domains.

Equity for all forever is an adaptation of a sustainability adage “enough, for all, forever”, and the sentiment, and challenges, hold true for our story too. We are committed to doing work that matters, and supporting others to do the same, in ways that are sustainable for organisations, and the workforces, and the people they exist to serve.
